Kerry Washington enjoys Northern Ireland sunset during break from filming

Hollywood actor Kerry Washington has been taking some time out during her busy filming schedule to enjoy Northern Ireland's stunning landscape.

The US star is currently filming new Netflix film The School of Good and Evil at Belfast's Harbour Studios which also stars Charlize Theron and Laurence Fishburne.

Taking to her Instagram account, Kerry snapped a picture of a sunset which she tagged 'Northern Ireland' and captioned: "These sunsets" followed by heart emojis.

Last week she also explored the North Coast of the country and shared a snap of her enjoying the stunning views overlooking the water.

The School for Good and Evil, based on a best-selling series of young adult fantasy novels by Soman Chainani and is set to generate investment of around £30million for Northern Ireland.

Kerry also shared an image of herself in full costume as her character Professor Dovey writing "More GOODness to come".

It is understood the production will be in Northern Ireland for at least 20 weeks so plenty of time for eager celeb spotters to catch a glimpse of some of the Hollywood A-listers out and about exploring NI.

Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey spent two weeks in the North Coast last week whilst quarantining before he begins filming in the Republic of Ireland for Disney's Disenchanted.
