Kerry make four changes for Munster final showdown with Cork

James O'Donoghue is out of Saturday evening’s Munster football final as Kerry make four changes for the showdown with Cork.

The 2014 Footballer of the Year was withdrawn during the semi-final win over Clare earlier this month with a hamstring problem and hasn’t been named in the squad of 26 for the game as Dara Moynihan comes in for his Championship debut up front.

Other changes see Paul Murphy and Gavin White returning in defence while Jack Barry resumes his midfield partnership with David Moran having missed the semi-final through injury as Gavin Crowley, Shane Enright and Adrian Spillane dropped to the bench.

Kerry are bidding for their seventh successive Munster title, a feat they last achieved during their record eight-in-a-row run from 1975-82.

KERRY:
S Ryan; J Foley, T Morley, T O’Sullivan; P Murphy, J Sherwood, G White; D Moran, J Barry; D O’Connor, S O’Shea, S O’Brien; D Clifford, P Geaney, D Moynihan.
