Kerry legend Tomas O'Se and wife Orla welcome newborn baby

Kerry legend Tomas O'Se has welcomed his fourth child with his wife Orla last night.

The five-time All-Ireland winner was at Cork University Hospital for the birth, and with mother and baby healthy, he thanked the doctor and midwives.

The couple now have four children together, with the new arrival joining their daughters Ailidh and Èabha, and their son named Micheál.

Sharing a snap of the newborn, he tweeted: "Born last night thanks the amazing help of @ProfJohnHiggins (a big Tyrone man) and also midwives Mary and Tríona (her dad the great hurling goalie Martin Coleman) in @CUH_Cork.

All 3 of you were actually so brilliant. Hands off to what all medical workers do."

O'Se's news was met with a barrage of well wishes from sporting figures like Sean Cavanagh, Billy Holland, Alan Cawley and more.

Tyrone legend, and fellow RTE Sunday Game pundit, Kavanagh said: "Us Tyrone guys were always extremely helpful & courteous to our Kerry friends, Tomas!

"Great news. Congrats & glad you got the haircut for the occasion."
