Kerry Katona thought she was going to die in plane crash during holiday horror

Kerry Katona has revealed how she thought she would die during a frightening incident on her recent holiday to Thailand.

The mum-of-five, 39, was flying back with her kids and her on/off toyboy boyfriend Ryan Mahoney, 30, when the plane suddenly dropped.

She said that her daughter Heidi, 12, was "screaming" and Ryan looked like he had "passed out" when it happened.

Heidi even asked Kerry if they were "going to die" during the terrifying moment.

Writing in her new! magazine column, Kerry said: "We flew home from Thailand last week and I swear to God, I thought we were going to die — I'm not exaggerating.

"We were halfway into the flight and the plane dropped. My stomach was in my mouth, Heidi was screaming and Ryan looked like he'd passed out.

"Heidi turned to me and asked, 'Mummy, are we going to die?' I had to tell her a story to calm her down, all the while thinking the turbulence would be the end of me.

"That's the last time I take a flight without a stiff drink first!"

EXCLUSIVE: Kerry Katona on her court appearance

As well as Heidi, Kerry is also mum to Molly, 18, Lilly-Sue, 16, Maxwell, 11, and Dylan-Jorge, five.

She was recently slammed for letting Dylan-Jorge wear a full fake of makeup .

Kerry hit out at the "bore brigade" who criticised her, saying the little girl just wanted to wear makeup like her mum and sisters.

And just weeks later she was forced to defend her decision to let Lilly-Sue drink diet shakes to lose weight.

Kerry said: "I know it's controversial, but I think the Herbalife protein shakes are actually good for you.

"Lilly ate so much crap during her GCSEs and she wanted to feel better, so I told her to try the shakes along with eating healthy meals. She feels great now."
