Kerry Katona still battling Covid as she gets second positive test nearly month on

Kerry Katona is still battling coronavirus almost a month after she first tested positive.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 40, has revealed she's had another positive test after first revealing she'd caught the bug back in December.

Writing in her column for new! magazine this week, Kerry revealed that she and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 31, really suffered with coronavirus symptoms over Christmas and at one point thought she was "dying".

She said she's got a chesty cough and sore throat, and is just thankful that she's no longer a cigarette smoker so things haven't got more serious at this point.

"I'm still struggling with coronavirus," Kerry wrote.

"I've had another test and I'm still positive.

"I felt so bad over Christmas. Me and Ryan literally thought we were dying — it was awful.

"I actually felt alright on Christmas Day and thought I was on the mend, but every now and then I'll start to feel weak, and I've got a terrible chesty cough and a sore throat.

"I think if I was still a smoker, I'd be in ICU by now.

"I'm just trying to act as normal as possible, even though I don't feel it."

Kerry announced she'd tested positive for coronavirus on her Instagram account on December 18.

"Tested positive!" she said, alongside a crying face emoji.

She added: "Never felt so poorly in all my life!! Those who think this isn't real, think again!! Absolutely heartbroken! Sending love and light to all those effected [sic]."
