Kerry Katona sparks concern by 'pretending to be ok'

Kerry Katona has sparked concern by revealing she's "holding back tears" and just "pretending to be ok".

The Atomic Kitten star, 38, told fans she's struggling in a series of worrying Instagram posts, including one which declared "it's ok not to be ok".

Last night, Kerry took to Instagram to post an emotional message with the caption: "Tomorrow is another day".

She wrote: "Sometimes all you can do is smile.

"Move on with your day, hold back the tears and pretend you're okay."

The singer went on to post a cryptic message about "bad people" in her life.

She wrote: "Never blame anyone in your life.

"The good people give you happiness. The bad people give you experience. The worst people give you a lesson.

"The best people give you memories."

Today, she shared a picture of her youngest daughter, Dylan-Jorge, and credited the youngster with helping her get through tough times.

She wrote in a now-deleted post: "Got to say I'm not feeling my best today but this little one is helping me to smile...

"It's ok not to be ok we can't be happy all the time... Don't ever feel embarassed or ashamed of your feelings.

"Reach out and speak to someone."

Kerry Katona admits fame left her suicidal - but she wants to be 'next Kris Jenner'

It comes after Kerry revealed she once got help from a very unexpected friend - Victoria Beckham.

The telly star said Posh Spice reached out to her as her marriage to Westlife star Brian McFadden crumbled in 2004.

Kerry revealed Victoria saw her as a kindred spirit as her own marriage to husband David was going through a rough patch as he was accused of cheating with Rebecca Loos.

She explained: "The Rebecca Loos scandal had just happened, yet she got my number and made the gesture,” Kerry revealed - before quickly adding a comment that suggests she fears a ‘photos or it never happened’ backlash.

“It was a sweet thing to do. I’m not sure she’d remember it now, but I still have a lot of respect for her."

Kerry and Brian were married in 2002 - a year after the birth of their first daughter, Molly - but divorced in 2006.

However, the marriage was far from happy - with Brian revealing he had cheated on his then-to-be wife with a lap dancer on his stag do, and later revealing their marriage was a sham and concocted purely for a Hello! magazine deal.

Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Kerry for comment.
