Kerry Katona slammed for plugging cosmetic surgery 'package' deal

Kerry Katona has been heavily criticised on social media for flogging cosmetic surgery deals to her followers.

The 39-year-old promoted a "special package" on Instagram and received backlash soon after the post was shared.

She told fans that her recent treatment with Harley Cosmetic London left her with "positive and kind comments", so they've put together an offer specially for Kerry's followers - named the "Katona Package".

Kerry shamelessly plugged: "I've had so many positive and kind comments about my recent treatment with Harley Cosmetic London that they've put together a special package offer for my followers.

"Quote KATONA10 and get star treatment like I did Please follow and dm for all info".

Her pluggy post attracted a swarm of angry fans who mocked the singer for posting the ad, especially because it could attract a young audience.

One user in particular slammed the star for being hypocritical about appearance, as she has previously talked about "being yourself".

They wrote: "Lovely .... you always go on about being yourself obviously with tweeks ..."

Another furiously penned: "Not great for some of your younger audiences or fans really......!"

"Your promotion of positive mental health seems to be fillers, lipo and whatever weight loss products you get paid to promote," a third stated.

While a fourth angry user shared: "Have you been hacked or is this a genuine ad to ‘sell’ cosmetic surgery!?

Kerry Katona's fans criticised her for the post as she has young kids herself (Instagram)

"I know I don't have to follow you and you are free to make whatever choices are right for you, but in a world where being yourself as a girl/woman never seems to be enough, you have a chance to build women up and encourage them.

"You are in the public eye and being a role model for some, you should be promoting self worth, not plastic surgery deals!

"How about an exercise and healthy eating ad instead?"
