Kerry Katona says Katie Price has 'crossed line' with 'awful' cosmetic surgery

Kerry Katona says she fears her friend Katie Price has "crossed the line" with cosmetic surgery.

The 38-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer slated the reality star for going too far and said she now looks "awful".

In her column of new! magazine , Kerry said she was shocked at the state of her pal's face and body after she went under the knife several times in recent months.

She wrote: "Seeing pictures of my friend Katie Price after her recent surgery was pretty awful. Those wounds!"

It has been reported that 41-year-old Katie has struggled with 'gruesome facelift wounds' after her face was pulled taut after having an incision along her hairline.

The situation was made worse by the wounds oozing pus after the bandages were removed by doctors.

Kerry herself is no stranger to going under the knife and in 2008 she splashed £15,000 on liposuction as she looked to get her post-baby body back.

Continuing with her thoughts on Katie's 'work', she wrote: "And her ears look really big. I imagine they're swollen from where the face gets pulled up, but, that said, the last time I saw her they looked weird.

"I love Kate to bits but I think she's crossed the line."

Kerry urged Katie to think carefully before deciding to have any more surgery done.

She continued: "She's beautiful but she's clearly got terrible insecurities. She needs to be careful now."

Speaking about her own cosmetic surgery, Kerry said that she is pleased that she has not suffered similarly.

Kerry wrote: "Touch wood, I've been really lucky when it comes to stuff like that.

"I've never had similar problems after a procedure, thank God."
