Kerry Katona said she sometimes feels like she is approaching 80 after a turbulent decade leading to her 40th birthday today.
The former Atomic Kitten, who got engaged just last week, said the milestone was "bittersweet" after a rollercoaster 10 years.
But she was all smiles as she embraced the landmark, telling her fans on social media she felt "grateful and blessed".
On Saturday, the mum-of-five from Warrington wrote on Instagram: "Well I’m off to bed for the last time as a Thirtysomething-year-old!!
"Well what can I say about the last 10 years??.... it’s been bittersweet.
"I sometimes feel like I’m about to turn 80 not 40 the amount of highs and lows I’ve lived through.. and I honestly thought I’d be upset turning 40 but hand on my heart I’m so excited about this next stage in my life... it feels like I’ve waited my whole life to get to this stage!
"As I sit here now in bed thinking about the last 10 years I am honestly and truly gobsmacked, shocked, grateful and blessed even more so I’m proud! Can’t believe I made it!! Sweet dreams people see ya in morning."

Kerry, who was married three times before finding love with fiance Ryan Mahoney, was true to her positive approach on her birthday morning, posting a picture of her smiling while out for a walk with the caption: "Happy birthday to me. The big 40."
Both posts attracted thousands of 'likes' from her followers, several of whom wished her a happy birthday.
