Kerry Katona feels 'violated' after telling fans her Range Rover was stolen in front of her

Kerry Katona has said that she feels "violated" after her Range Rover was stolen - with the reality TV star putting out an appeal for information on social media this afternoon.

The 41-year-old told her followers on Instagram earlier that her vehicle was stolen whilst she was shopping at the Elk Mill Shopping Park in Oldham, within Greater Manchester.

The mum-of-five shared a photo of the blue SUV - which has the private number plate KA17 ONA - and encouraged her followers to contact the police if they see the vehicle - worth around £110,000.

The I'm a Celebrity alum provided further details of the reported incident in a follow-up video on the platform, in which she tearfully recounted the "horrible" experience.

Kerry said: "Just letting everyone know that me and the children are absolutely fine." She however said she feels "violated" and that her kids are "really shook up."

Talking about the contents of the vehicle, the former Atomic Kitten member said: "It's got loads of Christmas presents in the boot and it's got the kids iPad's in there."

She said: "We was just shopping and I walked out, and I saw my engine start [but] I had the key. It was in my pocket."

Kerry continued: "I left the kids and I just chased them - I chased them all the way to the top. Good job I didn't get them - they could have had a knife or anything."

She said that there is CCTV footage and that she's been told that the individuals involved had been "eyeing [her] car up" a few days earlier at a hotel where she was staying.

The reality TV star added: "I've been completely and utterly targetted. I feel absolutely violated. I just want to go home."

And she said in the video that the thieves were "tw*ts," adding: "Get a proper job and earn your own money."

In a subsequent post, Kerry asked her followers not to contact her directly if they see the vehicle - instead encouraging them to contact the police about it.

She then said: "At the end of the day, it is just a car. It's not that [that's upset me]." She added: "I feel like I've been completely and utterly watched. That's what scares me."

It's understood that Kerry had been in the process of raffling off the vehicle - prior to her announcing that it had been stolen at a shopping centre earlier today.

She said that fans had mentioned this in the comments, stating that some said it was "convenient" for it to be stolen - with the reality TV subsequently responding to such a claim.

In her latest video, she said: "All those people who are leaving dirty, digusting comments about the raffle, saying how convenient it is - I hope to god, nothing like that ever happens to you because it was awful. Absolutely awful."

She concluded the video by saying: "Those who see the car - I feel like I'm going to throw up - please ring the police. Don't DM me. Ring the police straight away. Thank you."
