Kerry Katona has confirmed a major health diagnosis after being left bed-bound by a then mystery illness.
The former Atomic Kitten has announced she'd been diagnosed with scoliosis (curvature of the spine), the same condition that Princess Eugenie suffers from and continues to raise awareness about.
It comes after Kerry cancelled her "No Regrets" tour and was left bed-bound while suffering from intense pain across her back.
Last week, the 43-year-old said she was in severe pain across her hip joints and was close to taking herself to the nearest Accident & Emergency department.
Now, she has opened up in her weekly column for OK! Magazine and shared the news she has received.
"I was diagnosed with scoliosis last week, after having trouble with my back," she said after being left in tears on a regular basis.
Kerry continued: "I went to a chiropractor and had an X-ray, which showed that half of my brain doesn't work like the other half.
"Honestly, I've been in such a bad way, but thankfully, I’m now on a recovery plan which has been much better."
The Whole Again singer admits that her new diagnosis is something she will "have to live with", before saying she had undergone several tests to see how her brain works which was "eye-opening".
Last week, she said: "I literally can't do anything and I had to pull my weekend tour, I couldn't go ahead with it and felt terrible."
The star had been set to travel across the country, meeting fans at an intimate question and answer session – giving an insight into her life behind the cameras.
Despite being too poorly to appear on stage, the starlet has continued to update her fans on her OnlyFans page.
Over the course of the first lockdown, Kerry launched her OnlyFans account in order to help pay for her rent, which she has since described as the "best thing she ever did".
While the platform is primarily known for X-rated content, creators are free to post whatever they like but Kerry who previously worked as a glamour model decided to share snaps of herself.
"I was skint," she exclaimed, before adding: "I had to sell my massive jukebox which was a wedding present from Brian - it was the only thing I took, I just took the kids and that jukebox, which was like 16 grand.
"I had to sell it for £1,900 to pay the rent, and I thought, do you know what let’s get my t**ts out, I used to do it, so why not again? And it was the best thing I ever did. I came to the conclusion that God had given me two amazing assets in my boobs and I had better use them," she told The Sun.
