Kerry Katona cringes over 'awkward' reunion with ex Brian McFadden after sex joke

Kerry Katona has recalled an incredibly awkward reunion with ex Brian McFadden after she made a joke about their sex life.

The 41 year old was married to Brian from 2002 until 2006 and together they are parents to daughters Molly, 21, and 19 year old Lilly-Sue.

Kerry is also mum to Heidi, 15, and Maxwell, 14, with second ex-husband Mark Croft and eight year old Dylan-Jorge with late third ex-husband George Kay.

Ahead of heading off to Ireland for Molly's birthday celebrations, she recalled a joke she made about Brian - and was not exactly looking forward to facing him after her quip.

Speaking to OK!, she said: "I appeared on a podcast with YouTuber Shaun Attwood and some of my quotes made the headlines last week. I made a joke that my ex Brian McFadden proposed after three weeks because I’m so good in bed. For God’s sake, it was a joke, people!

"I use humour a lot and it’s just part of my personality – I like to take the p**s and I obviously wasn’t being serious.

"The timing of the headlines wasn’t great as I’m going over to Ireland for Molly’s birthday and will be celebrating with Brian… awkward!"

Discussing her love life with Shaun, Kerry put her skills in the bedroom down as one of her strengths when it comes to meeting men.

"I mean, Brian proposed to me after three weeks," she told Shaun in the podcast trailer.

The singer and OnlyFans star turned to the camera and added: "That's how good I am in bed."

Brian and Kerry went separate was after the singer fell in love with Aussie singer Delta Goodrem.

They got married in Rathfeigh, Ireland at a 250-strong star-studded reception at Slane Castle.

The ceremony was said to have cost £100,000 in total and some of the guests included their bandmates as well as S Club 7 and Dane Bowers.

Despite convincing photos of the happy couple, Brian later revealed that things weren't as they seemed.

He told Hello! magazine: "I was very young when I met her and no one ever loved me before. So when Kerry came along and wanted me, that gap was filled and I felt good simply because I had someone to share everything with," he told the Independent in 2007.

"I never stopped to think, 'You really should get to know this person before you have kids, think of marrying or settle down.'"
