Kerry Katona and Brian McFadden's daughter Molly falls ill with Covid-19 symptoms

Kerry Katona revealed her anxiety has been through the roof as her and Brian McFadden's daughter Molly has been ill with Covid-19 symptoms.

The Atomic Kitten singer, 39, told how scary it was to have the doctor arrive covered ‘head to toe in scrubs’ as Molly, 18, - who she shares with ex-husband Brian McFadden - was examined.

Opening up in New! Magazine, she said: “It’s been a tough week in my household, as I’m sure it’s been for millions of people across the country.

“My Molly’s shown symptoms of the coronavirus – she’s OK, but she’s got a fever, a cough and a sore throat.

“The doctor came to the house dressed head to toe in scrubs and a mask, which was pretty scary, but completely necessary of course.

“He says Molly will be OK, which has put my mind at ease. But still, it’s an incredibly frightening experience and my anxiety is through the roof.

The reality star, and mother of five added she has since been suffering with symptoms herself.

She said: “As I write this, I’ve got some symptoms too. I’ve got a dry cough and sore throat, and I feel weak and dizzy sometimes, so we’re all isolating ourselves for as long as we need to.

“We haven’t been tested, but the doctor says we need to be cautious, so no one’s leaving this house for the foreseeable.

She also recalled where her last public outing was, stating she and Molly hadn’t been out since their last joint visit to the Loose Women studio in London.

She told: “I was last out and about when Molly and I came to London to film Loose Women.

“It’s unbelievable to think the virus has spread so wide and so far since then. Please stay at home, guys.

Meanwhile, entertaining herself during the panic, she went on to joke about how Longford Love Island beauty Maura Higgins’ savage toilet cleaning spree using ex Curtis Pritchard’s toothbrush has inspired her to clear out some of her ex’s stuff.

She said: “So Maura Higgins has been using herex Curtis Pritchard’s toothbrush to clean the toilet, eh?

“Well to be fair, at least she’s being resourceful. Right now it’s nigh on impossible to get decent cleaning products, so fair play to her!

“I haven’t done anything like that with any ex’s stuff, but I noticed in the house move that a lot of George’s things are still around.

“I need to do a big tidy when I’m feeling up to it.”
