Kerry GAA ace Paul Walsh snapped alongside Brazil legend Ronaldinho

It's a well known fact in sporting circles that wherever a major sporting event takes place, there'll always be a lad wearing a GAA jersey.

Very often, that GAA jersey is a Kerry county jersey!

We've seen it at the US Masters, Euro 2020, The Open golf and many other major sporting events.

Brosna club man Paul Walsh has added to that by being pictured with one of football's (of a different code) most famous sons, Ronaldinho!

Both Kerry and Brazil are famed for being the most successful sides across their respective footballing codes.

The Canarinho have won five World Cups (one more than any other nation), while The Kingdom have lifted gaelic football's greatest prize 37 times, compared to the next Dublin's 30 on the all-time Sam Maguire roll of honour.

Ronaldinho of course was a star player for Brazil when the Seleção last won the World Cup back in 2002.

The now 41-year-old also won the Champions League (2006) during a five year spell with Barça as well as two La Liga titles with the Catalan giants.

He also won Serie A with AC Milan and was voted FIFA World Player of The Year 2004 and 2005 as well as the 2005 Ballon d'Or.

While Paul Walsh's footballing career isn't quite as glittering as the Brazilian's, the Brosna half-forward is still in his early 20s.

The 2018 minor footballer of the year has time on his side and it looks like we know who his world famous friend will be supporting for the remainder of this year's All-Ireland senior football championship.
