Kerry fans left disappointed as stream crashes for Jack O'Connor's first game back in charge

Kerry fans have been left disappointed after the live stream for their McGrath Cup opener against Limerick crashed, however it's been confirmed that affected supporters will be refunded.

With many fans paying for the stream to witness Jack O'Connor's third coming as Kingdom manager, Kerry got off to a flying start.

After twelve minutes they'd already soared to a 2-03 to 0-01 lead after just 14 minutes - with Paudie and David Clifford each hitting the net in an impressive opening quarter.

But fans missed out early on as streaming platform Clubber TV, via Munster GAA, which charged fans €10 to purchase the game, crashed minutes before throw-in as fans took to social media to report issues.

One fan said: "Guys any explanation to those who have paid for the Kerry v Limerick game not being able to login?"

"Got kicked out 5mins before kick-off Lerry vs Limerick and now cant get in, after paying €10," another added.

"Anyone else having trouble logging on to watch the Limerick and Kerry game?," one fan asked as others claimed to have a similar issue.

As of 7.18 pm, fans were still without access to the live stream of the Tralee clash.

Munster GAA took to Twitter to announce that all fans who subscribed to the stream will be refunded.

A statement said: "As some users are still unable to access the Live Stream of tonight’s McGrath Cup game, all subscribers will be refunded. Footage of the full game will be posted free-to-air on our online platforms after the completion of tonight’s game. We apologise for the inconvenience caused."
