IDUKKI: A resort owner was found hanging inside the resort owned by him at Mankulam near Adimali in Idukki on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Bastin Jaison Leeyis, 62, a resident of Pachalam in Ernakulam.
Leeyis was found hanging inside the Wild Elephant Resort at Viripara near Mankulam. According to police, Leeyis had bought land in Viripara in 1997 and constructed a resort and farm house in 2006. His body has been shifted to Idukki medical college for autopsy.
Meanwhile, police said that the actual reason behind the extreme step is yet to be known and a probe is going on.
