T’PURAM: The state witnessed 6,674 positive cases of the 65,147 samples tested in the last 24 hours. Among the new cases, 5,628 people have taken the vaccination, 2,790 have taken both doses, and 1,778 have not taken even a single dose.
The total active cases at present are 68,805, of which 6.7% of people are admitted either in hospitals or other treatment centres.
Meanwhile, 59 Covid deaths were reported, taking the toll to 35,511. At the same time, 7,022 patients have recovered.
Ernkulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,088, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (967) and Thrissur (727).
