Kerala: Kollam logs 1,499 Covid recoveries

KOLLAM: The district has reported 1,025 new Covid cases and 1,499 recoveries on Sunday. The Kollam corporation has reported 184 new cases.

Among municipalities in the district, Karunagappally reported the highest number of cases with 33, followed by Punalur (27), Paravoor (25), and Kottarakkara (8).

Among grama panchayats, Ilamadu reported the highest number of cases with 42, followed by Velinalloor (37), Kareepra (31), Thrikkovilvattom (29), Nedumpana and Nilamel (26 each), Vettikkavala (25), Panamana (24), Kadakkal and Kottankara (20 each), Eroor and Veliyam (19 each), Pathanapuram (17), Vilakkudy and Kalluvathukkal (16 each), and Sasthancotta (15).
