Kerala boy sings Ganesh Sthuthi before breaking the Roza; netizens call it the real Kerala Story

Kerala has been setting many examples of secularism, and this viral video is yet another addition to the list. As the Ramadan Roza is reaching its end, this video is surely a reminder that God is one. In a video making the rounds on social media, a boy can be seen singing Ganesh Sthuthi before breaking his Roza, and it is truly wholesome.

The wholesome moment

In the video shared by Robin Zain, the 13-year-old is seen awaiting the Azaan, the prayer from the mosque that signals the time to break the fast. In front of a table full of different delicacies, the person handling the camera asks Robin to sing a song before the Vaanku, aka Azaan. Without a pause, the teenager starts with the popular Ganesh Sthuthi, 'Gananayakaya.' Undoubtedly, he nails it with his singing prowess and dedication.

'A song while we await the Vaanku,' reads the caption of the video.

Praise from celebrities

Soon after the video was posted, praise started pouring in for the kid and his family. Not just netizens, even Malayalam celebrities commented on the reel, appreciating the budding talent. TV host Lakshmi Nakshathra, actors Sadhika Venugopal, Ronson Vincent, and Divya Pillai, singer Amritha Suresh, and others also commented on the same video, praising the young talent.

The Real Kerala Story

'Kudos to the parents for teaching him what real secularism means. If he has chosen this song while he is about to break his fast, even at this young age, he knows God is one,' wrote one netizen.

'The Real Kerala Story,' reads another comment on the post.
