Kepa Arrizabalaga, Fabio Carvalho: The latest Chelsea transfer rumours ahead of January window

Chelsea did some considerable business in the summer transfer window as they sealed the return of Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues’ summer dealings appeared to have done the trick, with Thomas Tuchel’s sitting at the top of the Premier League.

The work is not expected to end there though and Chelsea remain linked with a number of names, with the January transfer window just over six weeks away.

With that in mind, football.london takes a look at the players who could be on their way in or out of Stamford Bridge in the winter as Tuchel aims to bolster his squad even further.

Barcelona have reportedly made an offer to sign Chelsea target Fabio Carvalho.

The young winger has impressed for Fulham this season and with his contract set to expire next summer, a number of Europe’s biggest clubs were apparently interested in making a move.

However, it is the Catalan giants who have made the first attempt to seal his services by making an offer.

What?

Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has reportedly prioritised the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga as he attempts to sign a new goalkeeper for Lazio.

As per reports in Italy, the Spaniard is Sarri’s ‘favourite’ for the job, with the keeper open to be reunited with his former boss.

However, any potential deal is not expected to go through until next summer, with the Italian giants not quite able to afford the former Athletic Club keeper’s wages quite yet.

What?

As per reports in Spain, new Barcelona boss Xavi is keen to bring Chelsea loanee Saul Niguez to the Camp Nou in January.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has so far struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, having switched to west London on a temporary deal in the summer.

Barcelona could well offer him a chance for more football should he be recalled by his parent club.
