Kenyan Drake, Justin Pugh reportedly fine after exiting game with injuries

The Arizona Cardinals had a couple of offensive starters have to leave the game on Sunday. Running back Kenyan Drake exited the 31-21 loss in the fourth quarter after taking a big hit and starting left guard Justin Pugh also left the game after having his right leg looked at.

Both are apparently fine.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Drake had the wind knocked out of him and is fine. He has already been working out.

Drake took a bit hit in the midsection as he was going to the ground on a run and was turned around. The defender came from behind so Drake was unable to brace himself.

Pugh, according to ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss, should also be okay. His leg got rolled up on.

The Cardinals will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday. If we are guessing, both will likely get limited work then to start the week but will be good to go to play the Jets this weekend.
