Kenny Miller makes Celtic confession but details Rangers fear factor that hasn't gone away

Kenny Miller reckons a rare away win for Celtic has eased the pressure on Ange Postecoglou.

But he thinks it's Rangers who should be worrying the chasing pack after Steven Gerrard's team ground out another win – this time over Hibs.

It was a weekend that could have had major implications on the title race and neither of the Glasgow giants were fully convincing against Aberdeen and the Easter Road side respectively.

Celtic were breathing a sigh of relief however as Postecoglou picked up his first win on the road since arriving at Parkhead.

It came through Jota's late strike at Pittodrie and Miller, who featured for both teams during his playing career and now coaches in Postecoglou's native Australia, reckons it will be a weight off the manager's shoulders.

He told Sky Sports: "It was a much needed win yesterday and it eases a bit of the pressure on Ange because it was an unacceptable start.

"I think it was 10 points out of 21 before yesterday, it wasn't good enough and Ange will know that.

"The Celtic fans are demanding but that was a big win for them yesterday."

Rangers had to work for it too as they needed strikes from Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos to overturn Kevin Nisbet's opener against ten-man Hibs.

But they got there in the end and while they haven't hit their full stride this season, the results are still there.

That's something Miller reckons should strike fear into the challengers to their throne.

He went on: "If there was a year where someone was going to mount a challenge then it would be this year.

"Celtic look vulnerable and Rangers aren't at top form.

"But if I was one of the other teams that would be a worry. Rangers aren't at top form, but they're still getting wins.

"Once they do hit top form, if they're still top of the league, they'll be hard to stop."
