Kenny Golladay is on a great yards per catch pace lately

Kenny Golladay blew away the New York Giants in Week 8, catching six passes for 123 yards and two TDs. It was his second game with over 120 yards or two TDs in the last four for the Lions wideout.

That productivity helped Golladay to one of the best Octobers of any wideout in the NFL. The touchdown total is up to six in seven games, tied with several others for the NFL lead.

His 22.1 yards per reception over the last four weeks ranks second in the NFL. Only Chris Conley of the Chiefs has posted a better mark, per NFL Inside Edge. Keep in mind it’s four weeks, not games, and Golladay and the Lions were on a bye for one of those weeks:

Another Lions wideout sits at the bottom of the list, Marvin Jones. However, Jones has a 10-catch, 93-yard outing where he scored four TDs in the one week where Golladay didn’t go off.

On the season, Golladay has 31 receptions for 508 yards, a 16.4 yards per catch figure that’s more than a full yard higher than 2018.
