Kenny Golladay featured on GMFB Toe Drag Swag for Week 4 TD

“This might be the best of the year.”

The above quote is from NFL Network’s Good Morning Football’s “Toe Drag Swag” segment host Nate Burelson when he broke down Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay’s Week 4 late-game touchdown reception.

“I wanna freeze-frame it,” Burelson continued. “Go in slow motion. And his feet actually hit before he drags it out-of-bounds. And look at the ref, with his eyes on the toes. Unbelievable catch. And he keeps the ball high. For all you wide receivers — this is everything you’re supposed to do!

“You run a good route, balls in the air, you go up and snatch it, you look down, get the right one (down), and then you drag your feet like you’re trying to procrastinate. Oh my goodness!”

Check out Burelson’s breakdown of the Golladay toe drag at the 2:45 mark of the video below:

One final note from the video that I wanted to clarify. Near the end of the segment, Peter Schrager mentioned that the Down Judge was 20-year vet Keith Ferguson but later corrected himself.

Indeed, it wasn’t Ferguson — he was the Back Judge — but it was Tom Stephan, who is also drenched in NFL experience. He has been roaming the sidelines for the last 21 seasons and had as good a look at the play as anyone in the building.
