Kenny Goins notches first double-double for Pallacanestro Trapani

We have spent some time keeping up with Michigan State alumni in both the NFL and NBA, but what about Kenny Goins, who went to go play with Pallacanestro Trapani, a Serie A2 club out of Trapani, Italy? Well, Kenny has been doing just fine. He is averaging 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist per game while starting at small forward for the Italian team, and this weekend he put up his first double-double of the season.

Goins scored 15 points (on 6-for-7 shooting) and grabbed 11 rebounds while helping lead his squad to a win over Mrinnovabili Agrigento, another Italian team. Goins’ team is now 3-2 on the season and he has shown to be one of their better players thus far. He is third on the team in scoring and leads the team in rebounds. He’s also shooting 50% on threes for the season.
