Kenny Dalglish's son sends perfect message of support to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

Kenny Dalglish's son has sent a message of support to Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager's emotional press conference following defeat to Leicester City.

The 3-1 defeat continued the Reds' poor run of form and they could well be seventh by the next time they play in the Premier League.

It led to Klopp having to take a moment to compose himself when asked post-match if Liverpool are now out of the title race, with Man City stretching their lead at the top of the table.

Earlier this week, Klopp was unable to attend his mother Elisabeth's funeral because of restrictions in place in Germany due to the coronavirus.

Unfounded rumours on social media began to circulate yesterday over Klopp's next move this season, but club sources have insisted there is no truth to them.

Paul Dalglish, son of Reds legend Kenny, is currently head coach of USL Championship side Miami FC.

Last night he posted a picture of himself with the Reds boss, alongside other images, with the caption "World class coach. Even better man."

In a further post on Twitter, Dalglish paid tribute to Klopp's achievements at Anfield and said he would not swap the manager with anyone else.

He said: "Jurgen Klopp is without doubt the best thing that has happened to Liverpool in recent history.

"I wouldn’t swap anyone in the world for him. It is heartbreaking seeing what he is going through.

"Sending love, strength and one of his big hugs to him. Family is everything.

"Liverpool is made for him and he was made for Liverpool. The road is never straight but there is nobody better to lead this football club than him. I don’t care where we finish.

"All I care about is Jurgen getting through this and seeing those glorious white teeth smiling again."
