Kenny Dalglish makes Rangers vs Celtic call as he predicts the manager who'll be 'hiding under the duvet'

Scottish football icon Kenny Dalglish is backing Celtic to make it 10 consecutive domestic trophies against rivals Rangers at Hampden.

The pair meet in the Betfred Cup Final on Sunday with the Hoops looking to continue their domestic dominance against their biggest rivals.

It's a mammoth day for Rangers with the Ibrox side believing their time is now to end the Hoops' stranglehold over Scottish football.

But the former Celtic star believes it will be the green and white faithful who will leave Hampden jubilant after the final whistle today.

Daglish reckons fellow Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is making inroads at Ibrox but he can't see past a win for Neil Lennon and his players.

He told the Sunday Post : "I'm honestly finding it difficult to predict the outcome. There is next to nothing to separate the teams - but I will not sit on the fence.

"Celtic will just shade it and make it 10 domestic trophies in a row.

"But I was with Celtic for 10 years, so maybe that's the reason for my prediction more than anything else.

"It's that tight."

And Dalglish, who won this tournament as Hoops boss in 2000, admits the losing manager will be left reeling in the aftermath.

He added: "Neil is the more experienced gaffer and has won plenty of trophies.

"Steven is only just finding his way in the managerial business, but he is heading in the right direction.

"Both of them can't go home happy this evening.

"One of them will be ecstatic, while the other will be hiding under the duvet."
