Kendrick Bourne got the Patriots WRs talking on Instagram after saying he wants to get 1,000 yards

New England Patriots wideout Kendrick Bourne has his eyes on a 1,000-yard season for himself and receiver Jakobi Meyers. Bourne posted to Instagram on Wednesday asking Meyers if he felt good about both of them getting over 1,000 yards.

“1k each for me and my dog? What y’all think?!! @kobi1116 (Jakobi Meyers),” Bourne wrote.

That got Patriots players talking on the platform. Everyone had thoughts on Bourne’s posts. But before we dive into the responses, here’s a look at what Bourne posted.

Here’s what folks said in response:

“Just save me some and we good😂” DeVante Parker responded.

“We all gonna eat fasho! Watch! All 4 even Nelly!” Bourne replied.

Running back Damien Harris, an established veteran in New England’s system, had a more

“Bill gone show this in squad 🤣” Harris said.

It seems Harris anticipated Belichick getting critical about the post, likely because it had to do with players achieving a personal benchmark. Belichick gets grumpy when talking about individual stats.
