An independent Welsh jeweller is celebrating after one of the biggest social media stars in the world wore a pair of her £79 earrings.
Supermodel Kendall Jenner was spotted wearing the hooped earrings when she watched a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns at Madison Square Garden in New York this week.
Pictures of the American reality television star, who has 160 million followers on Instagram, watching boyfriend Devin Booker playing for the Phoenix Suns were beamed around the world.
The earrings are by Caerphilly-based Hayley Jones, whose design first gained prominence when the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of the earrings during a visit to Barry Island last summer, and again for a festive visit to Cardiff Castle at the end of last year.
The Alia Hoops are demi-fine and coated in 2.5 microns of 18 karat yellow gold.
It all comes only fours years after Hayley started her jewellery business from the kitchen table of her home in Caerphilly three years ago, when she started selling her jewellery on Etsy.
Since Kate first wore them last August, interest in Hayley's designs have gone through the roof and she has had to draft her mum, Dawn, and sister, Kelly, in to help keep up with all the orders.
Hayley said: "I couldn't quite believe seeing Kendall Jenner wearing my Alia Hoops, it's such a huge pinch me moment, and a few tears!
"I started my business on the kitchen table four years ago with my mum helping out. I am still very small with my mum and sister helping out and even my dad helping out with the local deliveries He is a postman so knows all the delivery routes.
"Seeing a supermodel and such a huge international star wearing a pair or my earrings has been so surreal. I still don't think it has sunk in. I am so grateful."
