Washington fans may have gotten a bit impatient waiting for the return of Kendall Fuller, especially after paying him a healthy chunk of change this offseason.
He made the wait worth it on Sunday, coming up with two interceptions against the Baltimore Ravens and earning Pro Football Focus’ top cornerback grade of the week. After missing the first two weeks of the season with an injury, Fuller stepped in and took over 100% of the snaps on defense, and his presence was palpable.
With a tough game against the Los Angeles Rams coming up on the schedule, it will be imperative for him to be able to lock down someone like Robert Woods or Cooper Cupp and give Washington’s defense a chance of competing down the stretch.
