It is not often that radio stations ask their listeners to turn them off, but that's what happened during BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce's show, reports the Sun, Mail and Express. Bruce's soothing tones were inadvertently being relayed to all shipping off the Wales west coast, blocking communications. Unable to contact the ship which had started the problems, the local coastguard turned to Bruce to help, prompting the DJ to tell his listeners: "If you are on a ship near the Small Rocks, please turn me off." The blocking then ceased almost immediately.
