Kemar Roofe travels with Rangers squad as they jet out to Seville for Frankfurt Europa League final

Rangers have been handed a huge boost as Kemar Roofe was part of the travelling squad at Glasgow Airport.

The Light Blues have been without the striker for a number of weeks as he continues to battle back to full fitness.

He hasn't been involved for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men side since sustaining an injury in the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic at Hampden.

Roofe hinted at a potential comeback on social media earlier this week after posting a snap of customized shin guards ahead of Wednesday's Europa League final with Frankfurt.

Alfredo Morelos is already out for the campaign, while Cedric Itten - on target in the weekend win over Hearts - is also well down the pecking order.

But Roofe has been snapped with the travelling squad as they jet out to Seville, fuelling belief he could make his return from injury.

The Rangers team are on their way to the Spanish City to join the thousands of fans who have already made the journey ahead of their huge clash at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

It's the start of a massive week for Ibrox men as they bid to land TWO trophies.

Following the match with Frankfurt, they will face Hearts this weekend in the Scottish Cup Final.

Victory over the Bundesliga side will not only secure legendary status for the current crop - but they will land a spot in the Champions League group stages next season along with Celtic.

Lifting the trophy would also land the Light Blues a top seeding place at Europe's top table next term.
