Kemar Roofe and jubilant Rangers players film fans' red, white and blue fireworks display

Jubilant Rangers fans welcomed their heroes back to Glasgow last night with an epic fireworks display - and the club's in-form players loved every second of it.

The Ibrox side swept Livingston aside 3-0 last night at the Tony Macaroni Arena, leaving Steven Gerrard and his squad just 90 minutes from completing a completely unbeaten league campaign.

It's been a season to remember for the Rangers fanbase, despite being unable to watch their team play in the flesh due to the Coronavirus pandemic, with the club's historic 55th top-flight title secured in stunning style.

And supporters made a big noise on their return to Glasgow last night by filling the sky with red, white and blue explosives as the team bus passed the city's Cessnock building.

Fans' favourite Kemar Roofe managed to capture the scene and uploaded it to his verified Instagram page, whilst Alfredo Morelos posted a similar clip and can be heard in the background cheering: "Come on... 55!"

Fan group the Union Bears have organised a street march between Ibrox and George Square on Saturday, ahead of the final match of the season against Aberdeen, but the Rangers hierarchy have issued a statement today urging supporters to refrain from attending, as well as urging fans to stay 'safe and sensible'.
