Kem Cetinay quits new Freddie Flintoff TV programme after just one day

Kem Cetinay has reportedly quit Freddie Flintoff's new TV show Don't Rock The Boat after just one day.

The Love Island 2017 winner, 24, signed up for the tough task of rowing from Land's End to John O'Groats with 12 other celebs.

But Kem found the gruelling training too hard to handle and bowed out just a day into training.

As a result, the show's bosses have been left scrambling to find a replacement for Kem and other stars feel as though they have been "left in the lurch".

A source told The Sun that Kem had initially been very keen to take part in the programme.

The insider said: "He loves keeping fit and the idea of rowing 650 miles with a load of other stars seemed like a good laugh.

“The 12 celebs were split into two teams and had to compete against one another.

“But when it came down to the actual task the prospect of it proved too much and he left on the first day of training."

They added: "It was a massive blow for the team working on the show because they were left desperately needing a replacement for Kem’s boat."

Meanwhile, a friend of Kem's told the publication that Kem pulled out because of his dedication to Soccer Aid, which kicks off next month.

They explained that it had been a "tough competition" and that Kem had decided it "wasn't for him" after arriving on the first day.

This comes after the Mirror exclusively revealed that actress Lucy Fallon would take part in the boat race, which would be her first job since leaving Coronation Street.

A TV source said: “Lucy was in hot demand after winning numerous awards. ITV were desperate to work with her again.

“Lucy thought it sounded like the adventure of a lifetime.

“It’s been described as a mix of I’m a Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins... only harder.”
