Kelvingrove Museum to reopen today after being forced to shut due to electrical fault

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum will be fully reopened today after yesterday's electrical fault.

As reported on Glasgow Live , staff at the popular west end tourist attraction were forced to close the doors on Wednesday for emergency repairs.

Engineers were on site for most of the day, helping to restore power after an outage.

But the good news is, business is returning to usual just in time for the weekend.

The latest update on the Kelvingrove Twitter feed , as of 9.34am this morning, reads: "Good news! We will be opening at 10am this morning as usual. All Linda McCartney Retrospective pre-booked tickets from yesterday will be honoured. We would like to thank all our visitors for their understanding during the closure yesterday."

Glad to have you guys back!
