Kelvingrove Bandstand was vandalised over the weekend, with graffiti sprayed over the famous west end music venue and glass smashed in the arena.
Glasgow Life, who run the bandstand, say a group of up to 17 youngsters are responsible for the damage and that police have been informed.
An eyewitness told Glasgow Live the vandalism to the property was 'disgraceful' as Glasgow Life try to calculate the cost of the damage.
Glasgow Live have contacted Police Scotland for further comment.
A spokesperson for Glasgow Life said: “Kelvingrove Bandstand was vandalised by a large group of up to 17 young people at the weekend who sprayed graffiti on walls and the stage, and smashed glass in the arena.
"Police were alerted by security guards.
"It’s too early to say how much repairs will cost."
Last month, we reported on the news Summer Nights at the Bandstand, a music festival hosted annually at the Kelvingrove Park venue, has been postponed for another year. Event organisers announced this year's event had been called off due to the ongoing impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, police and council officers are due to be staffing gates at Kelvingrove Park this summer to stop Glaswegians entering with booze.
Officers will be stationed at the entrances on select days when high visitor numbers are anticipated – meaning sunseekers caught with alcohol will be asked to dispose of it outside or face being turned away.
Measures to manage access to the park were introduced last year following a series of incidents that saw mass gatherings despite covid restrictions as well as public drinking, public urination, significant littering and disorder and assaults on police officers, while we've also reported on disturbances at the park earlier this year, during the covid-19 lockdown.
