Kelvin Harmon says his favorite player growing up was Sean Taylor

Kelvin Harmon feels right at home with the Washington Redskins.

The 2019 sixth-round wideout is in an interesting position for a late-round pick given the team’s need at wideout and the battle about to take place there over the course of training camp.

He’s also happy to be in town because he grew up watching Sean Taylor, as he told Andrew Breitfelder of Redskins.com:

“Honestly, before my sophomore year in college and junior year … I always watched his tribute on YouTube before every game. It just gives me chills, just seeing what he went through and how everything ended.”

Harmon is far from the only player in Washington who feels this way. Landon Collins came over in free agency and has said he idolized Taylor, too.

While he fell in the draft and is classified as a possession-type receiver, Harmon has a good chance at the final roster if he can develop a good connection with the Redskins’ two new passers.

That he’s an avid Taylor fan will only endear him with fans even more.
