Kelsey Parker says she 'can't believe I'm sharing this' she's showered with support over new move

Kelsey Parker has been inundated with support after she revealed her latest project by telling her fans and followers: "I can't believe I'm sharing this!" The mum-of-two revealed she has put pen to paper and has written her first book documenting the loss of her husband Tom Parker.

The singer, who shot to fame as part of boyband The Wanter, died on March 30, 2022, at the age of 33 after a battle with terminal brain cancer glioblastoma. He shared the news of his diagnosis with fans in October 2020 when Kelsey was pregnant with their second child, son Bodhi.

Following Tom's tragic death, Kelsey shared the start of her grief journey in the six-part documentary series, Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, which aired on ITVBe at the end of last year. It followed Kelsey and her two children, daughter Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two, as she navigated their life after the death of her husband and their dad.

And after continuing to speak out about her beloved late partner and championing brain tumour research by joining the Ahead Of The Game Foundation, Kelsey has now revealed that her new book will tell her story of the first 12 months after Tom’s death.

Sharing the cover of the book, titled Kelsey Parker: With and Without You, on Instagram for the first time, the 33-year-old wrote: "Can’t quite believe I’m sharing this… With and Without You, my story of the first 12 months after Tom’s death will be released later this year.

"So many of you have asked if I’m going to write my own book.. well the answer is yes! I’ll be sharing it all - how I’ve faced the ‘firsts’, the start of my spirituality journey and finding the positives in the unimaginable heartbreak."

She added: "It’ll be a tough read in places but its(sic) not going to be a sad story. I want it to bring hope and inspiration to anyone facing grief of any kind." And the comments section was quickly filled with supportive messages from her celebrity followers and fans.

Former Hollyoaks star Daisy Wood Davis wrote: "This is amazing." @dianeyjess said: "Congratulations Kels! You are an amazing woman to inspire all of us. I am sure that Tom is very proud!" @suzimayaka1981 posted: "That’s fantastic @being_kelsey I can’t wait to read it well done."

@fabulous_sands replied: "I'm absolutely amazed. Well done in so many ways. Nothing but totally respect." @becsm11 shared: "That's Amazing @being_kelsey , can't wait to read it . Will be ordering now. Will be emotional but inspiring." @harvey40thfc added: "Amazing & well done for finding courage to write this book."

Earlier this year, Kelsey shared a simple message on the first anniversary of Tom's death. She took to Instagram with a gorgeous picture of the pair. "One year without you," she simply typed alongside a red heart. "Forever my soul mate," the mum-of-two added.
