Kellyanne Conway, former counselor to Donald Trump, has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Ms Conway joins a growing number of senior figures who have confirmed they are positive for the virus in recent days. Mr Trump announced he and First Lady Melania have Covid-19 in the early hours of Friday.
The former presidential counselor announced her condition in a tweet.
"Tonight I tested positive for Covid-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I'm feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians," Ms Conway wrote. "As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic."
Ms Conway's 15-year-old daughter, Claudia, broke the news that her mother had the virus on a TikTok video.
In the video, Claudia wears a mask and a caption above her head reads "update my mom has covid."
She then posted another video in which the caption said "Bye I'm done, I'll see you all in two weeks."
"I'm furious. Wear your masks. Don't listen to our idiot f*****g president piece of s**t. Protect yourself and those around you," she added.
Ms Conway attended the ceremony to celebrate the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the US Supreme Court.
The ceremony, held on 26 September, took place in the Rose Garden. During the event, dozens of people sat in rows packed tightly together and many did not wear masks.
Since the event, others in attendance including Utah senator Mike Lee, North Carolinasenator Thom Tillis and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie have tested positive for the virus.
