Kelly Brook has opened up about her relationship with “best friend and soulmate” Jeremy Parisi, gushing that her boyfriend of seven years “ticks all the boxes”.
The model, actress and presenter revealed that she believes she’s found 'The One' in Jeremy, 37, after the pair recently celebrated the anniversary of moving in together.
“Jeremy did this really cute thing for our anniversary,” Kelly told The Mirror. “He put together a really lovely photo album of all the things his favourite pictures and moments. He’s done it every year for the past seven years.
“He’s definitely the most romantic of the two of us. He’s Italian and French, so what can I say!”
Kelly, 42, is no stranger to relationships in the spotlight, having dated and even been engaged to a number of famous faces.
Her ex-fiancés include Fast & Furious star Jason Statham, Titanic actor Billy Zane, rugby player Thom Evans, and Gladiators star David McIntosh.
But things changed for Heart Radio presenter when she met Jeremy via Instagram in 2015.
Asked why this relationship had outlasted the others, Kelly replied: “I think being older and wiser. We have the same kind of goals. Jeremy’s a family man."
“He ticks all the boxes,” she added. “And there weren’t many red flags with Jeremy, I have to say. And I know red flags! I used to chase red flags!”
But the star is remaining tight-lipped on whether the pair will tie the knot. “We’re open to it one day. If all the stars align,” she answered coyly.
Kelly went on to tease: “People can speculate. But until then I think you just have to just assume that nothing’s going on.
“At the end of the day, if it hasn’t happened on Instagram, it hasn’t really happened!”
The pair have even taken their relationship to the next level by becoming ‘parents’ in lockdown - to an adorable puppy named Ted.
“I’ve definitely become a dog mum for sure,” Kelly laughed. “My friends tease me because I pamper him. He goes to the hairdresser every six weeks - that’s more than I do!
“People do say ‘Why didn’t you get a rescue puppy?’. But sometimes we’re the ones that need rescuing - and Teddy rescued us.
“He’s so loving and sweet. He came into our lives when we needed him. He has been the most incredible addition to our family.”
Kelly went on to say that seven years in, her life with Jeremy is far from boring. “We’re always travelling, always busy,” she explained.
“So it’s not about settling down because I’m certainly not settled. I’m just happy.
“I’ve found someone who can keep up with me and the lifestyle that I love,” she added. “It’s the combination of having a very exciting life but also having moments where it’s nice to stay home, watch Netflix and walk the dog. It’s getting that balance.”
