'It's just weird': Kelly Brook accuses Love Island host Caroline Flack of ‘trying to have her life'

Kelly Brook has accused Caroline Flack of copying her, calling the similarities in their lives “weird”.

Brook made the admission on Heart radio where she discussed Flack’s presenting gig on Love Island and her alleged romance with Danny Cipriani.

Brook, who presented the first ever Love Island series in 2005 alongside Patrick Kielty and also dated rugby ace Cipriani, accused Flack of “trying to have her life”.

“I can’t believe she’s doing Love Island and dating Danny Cipriani,” Brook said.

New host: Caroline Flack is now the face of Love Island (ITV)

"I was like, ‘Is she just following my life or something’? Hang on, I was the first host of Love Island, then I dated Danny. It’s like, what’s next?”

Brook questioned whether Flack’s next move will be taking over her show on Heart before finishing: “I don’t know if she’s still dating him. But when I look at stuff like that I’m like, ‘This is just weird. It’s just weird’."

Brook was replaced by Fearne Cotton after one series of Love Island before Flack took over the helm in 2015. The dating show, which sees singletons couple up in a Spanish villa in a bid to find ‘the one’ and win a hefty cash prize, has been a ratings hit with the latest series opening to a peak audience of 3.7 million.

It was the highest rated show at 9pm across all channels, winning the slot with an 18.5 per cent share.

Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm
