Kello Rovers are on the hunt for a new manager after Scott Clelland resigned over the weekend.
Clelland, known as Paddy, oversaw a famous victory against Irvine Meadow in the Junior Cup with nine men in January 2020.
Then he remained in the dugout throughout Covid and when the club moved over to the West of Scotland League.
Clelland's last match in charge was a 7-1 defeat against top of the league St Cadocs and he leaves the Kirkconnel-based side in 11th place in Conference B.
Kello chief Mark Keggans said: "I've accepted the resignation of Scott Clelland as manager of the club.
"Scott had planned to finish up at the end of this season after buying himself a caravan to retire from the stresses of football, but he now feels its time to go and allow a fresh face in to take charge.
"Assistant manager and coach Alex Smith and David Jardine will continue in their roles to allow us time to bring someone in, but will step aside as well when the time comes that we've appointed the right people.
"I'd like to place on record our thanks to all three men for their efforts over the seasons not forgetting our highs of the Junior Cup a few seasons ago.
"It's been a tough few seasons with stop start football with restrictions and what, but they remained full committed and gave it there all. It's been a pleasure most of the time gents so thank you from Kello Rovers."
