Kellie Harrington has admitted that 'emotions are flowing' as she took to social media for the first time since her Olympic victory.
Harrington is less than a week removed from her gold medal win in Tokyo and has now taken time to get onto social media.
The Portland Row native admitted that she would not know where to start when it came to replying to messages but has now taken to both Twitter and Instagram.
And Harrington first broke her social media silence as she shared a snap alongside her fellow Olympic medal winners.
And Harrington also shared a number of photos from her homecoming from earlier in the week and said that emotions are flowing.
Posting on her Instagram story, Harrington said: "Emotions are flowing. watching everyone smile, sing, dance, engage with each other, happiness, amongst a beautiful crowd."
Harrington was snapped alongside fellow Olympian Emmet Brennan and continued: "@EmmetBrenna and I are beyond proud of our community."
Harrington secured gold on the early hours of Sunday morning and it sparked jubilant scenes on Portland Row.
And the gold medal winner returned home and paraded on an open top bus tour of Dublin.
