Comedian Leigh Francis has claimed he's had to turn down gigs because fans grope and say 'sexual things' to him.
Leigh says fans act this way towards him because they're confusing him for his crude TV character Keith Lemon when they see him in public.
Leigh says he projects a 'sexual' persona on his show Celebrity Juice.
Unfortunately he says some viewers then forget that Keith isn't real and the act is just for TV.
He explains that they touch him where they shouldn't when they meet him.
And as a result he's knocked back corporate gigs due to being manhandled and subjected to lewd comments.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, the 47-year-old TV star says some fans have the wrong idea because of his brash character who hosts the outrageous ITV gameshow Celebrity Juice.
He explained: “I project this sexual beast on Celebrity Juice and they think they are allowed to come up to you when you are having your dinner and touch you where they shouldn’t.
"People say naughty and inappropriate things to me all the time. When I am with friends they are surprised and go, ‘How dare they come up to you and say that’.”
Leigh, who shot to fame with his sketch show Bo' Selecta! in 2002, recalled 'lots of ladies' grabbed him inappropriately when he was in the audience at a Matt Goss concert, and he had to suffer through people saying “very sexual things.”
He said: “I just don’t like it when they try to touch my bum. That’s happened a few times. Often it was at corporate gigs because they all get drunk and do that. So I don’t do corporate gigs now, ever.”
