Keith Lemon and Amanda Holden were shocked to hear an asylum-seeker had hidden underneath their van while filming Lemon's new TV show in Calais.
A member of the TV crew was startled to find a man under the boot and raised the alarm after seeing a shoe left near the vehicle.
A gang of men reportedly were trying to hide themselves in the van so they could be smuggled across the border - but their plan was rumbled.
A member of the public who witnessed the incident told the Sun : "Amanda and Keith were shooting inside a supermarket when a commotion kicked off outside.

"A bunch of asylum seekers were wandering around out there, and spotted the camera crew filming inside.
"They saw an opportunity, and tried to get into the big production van to hide behind various bits of equipment."
The insider went on: "As they were pulling away, the driver noticed a stray shoe belonging to a chap hiding underneath their van. They quickly stopped the car, and security got him out and dealt with the matter."

Both stars were naturally shocked when they found out about the incident but all was sorted out relatively quickly without any drama.
However, their security has since been increased.
The Celebrity Juice star has a new show due out in the Autumn which features a host of celebs including Mel B and Fearne Cotton wandering around different supermarkets.
