Keith Duffy explains why Boyzone’s final gigs aren’t in Ireland

Keith Duffy has revealed why Boyzone’s final gigs aren’t in Ireland.

The four-piece band will wrap up their 25-year career in London next month.

But Irish fans have expressed anger that the band didn’t close out their last tour here.

The 44-year-old singer said: “We wanted to find one more concert to do in Ireland and we all agreed it would be a nice thing to do.

“We didn’t feel finished in Ireland yet and in my business it’s not just want the band wants to do.

“There are a lot of fans saying you’re doing your final five [shows] in the UK you should have finished your final shows in Ireland and they’re probably right.

“We would love to but our hands our tied.”
