Maura Derrane and Daithi O'Se were left stunned after Keith Barry appeared on their show and performed a mind trick on them.
Irish Hypnotist Keith Barry appeared on Today with Maura and Daithi to talk about his experience in lockdown over the last few months.
While on the show he performed a mind-blowing trick on the pair.
Keith explained that his trick would involve influencing the pair to say whatever he wanted them to.
He first told Maura to think of a word different from apple, firstly she picked tree but then she changed her mind to sand.
He then asked Daithi to think of a word different than Maura's word and he chose cup.
After they chose words he revealed an envelope in which he wrote something two hours before going on the show.
He then read out what was written and the hosts were mindblown.
Maura read: "I will influence Maura to say sand and Daithi to say cup."
Maura added: "I changed my mind because I thought it would be too obvious. Keith this is so weird seriously."
In terms of coping with lockdown Barry explained how he finally feels he has a routine.
He said: " I'm pretty okay now actually. I think I have gotten into a bit of a rhythm or a routine like everybody else.
"I'm doing loads of gardening and I let the exercise go for a couple of weeks I just got back into that today.
"I have written an ebook."
Unfortunately he has had to cancel a lot of upcoming gigs due to coronavirus restrictions and has been working remotely since they were introduced.
He said: "Live entertainment especially was the first thing that went and it will be the last thing that comes back.
"So I was at the tail end of my tour and I still have two gigs left to do from that tour and we have rescheduled them.
