Keeping up with the Kardashians season 16: Release date, what to expect and how to watch in UK

From baby news to love triangles, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has already seen plenty of drama this year.

And soon fans will get to see it all unfold as Keeping up with the Kardashians returns to our screens for a sixteenth season.

Yep, that’s right. Season one began over a decade ago, back in October 2007 – feeling old yet?

Previous seasons have run for 16 to 19 episodes, so we can expect around 16 weeks of selfie-filled, tantrum-throwing fun.

Basically, clear all your Sunday night plans for the foreseeable future.

Here’s the lowdown on season 16 of KUWTK:

When does KUWTK season 16 air in UK?

As is customary, KUWTK hits the US first, airing on March 31 across the pond.

The series usually airs a week later in the UK, so British fans can expect the first episode to air on Sunday April 7.

From there, it will air every Sunday night at 9pm.

When did filming for season 16 begin?

Filming for this series began back in August 2018, and boy has a lot happened since then.

Kim Kardashian-West commemorated the occasion with – what else – a snap of herself saying she was ‘forever grateful’ that filming for season 16 had commenced.

What to expect from season 16

Breakdowns: Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner's friendship has been tested over reports Woods cheated with Tristan Thompson (Getty Images for SECNDNTURE)

Well where do we start?

Firstly, there’s that cheating scandal which saw Khloe Kardashian end things with her baby daddy Tristan Thompson after he was accused of hooking up with Jordyn Woods (Kylie’s BFF) at a party.

Woods has reportedly moved out of Jenner’s house and not to mention hardly any of the Kardashian-Jenner crew are speaking to her, according to reports.

It’s not yet clear whether this incident will take centre stage in season 16 or will be pushed to the background, with talk of Woods being potentially cut out of the series altogether.

Whatever happens, the scandal is sure to be the elephant in the room.

Apart from that (yes, of course, there’s more) Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announce that they are expecting their fourth child and there’s more co-parenting drama between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.

Also, Khloe loses it with her family, saying she could be selfish and just hang out with baby True all the time (we don’t blame her, tbh).

How to watch

If you are blessed with Sky or Virgin Media, you can catch KUWTK on E! on channel 123 (Sky) or channel 156 (Virgin Media).

As with previous seasons, it’s expected that streaming service Hayu should have the new series available to watch at the same time as the US. You can sign up online for £4.99.

Or, go very 2007 retro and watch pay as you go episodes on YouTube, GooglePlay and iTunes.
