Keeping Faith series 3 - when is it on, who's in it and everything we know so far

Eve Myles is back this spring with her most beloved character yet, solicitor Faith Howells as Keeping Faith airs its third and final series.

The BBC Wales/S4C, which airs as Un Bore Mercher on the Welsh language channel, was a smash when it was first broadcast in 2017.

The majority of Keeping Faith is filmed in Carmarthenshire, including Laugharne and Carmarthen Guildhall in the town centre.

It’s also had scenes filmed on location in the Vale of Glamorgan and Port Talbot.

When is Keeping Faith series three on TV?

It starts on Saturday, March 27 at 9pm.

Filming on series three started in January but was delayed by the pandemic. The show managed to finish off the action in Laugharne at the end of the summer, when Eve Myles posted a final picture of herself in Faith’s famous yellow mac.

What will happen in series three?

Faith Howells attempts to navigate the fall out of her marriage break-up, while taking on an emotionally-wrenching legal medical case involving a gravely ill little boy.

At the end of series two there were lots of twists and turns but the crux of it was that Faith kicked dodgy husband Evan out of the family home and was then seen cwtching Steve Baldini (Mark Lewis Jones) on the beach, who told her: "I'll be here for you when you're ready."

Who's in it?

Eve is back as Faith Howells, of course, and joining her again for the drama are (Eve's real-life hubby) Bradley Freegard as Evan Howells and Mark Lewis Jones as Steve Baldini.

They also team up with Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie (Victoria Wood as Seen on TV, Dinnerladies, Best Exotic Marrigold Hotell) for this new series. Matthew Aubrey (Made in Dagenham, The Gospel of Us), BAFTA winning actress Dame Sian Phillips, and presenter and actor Shaun Fletcher, have also joined the cast.
