Keeping Faith series 3: What is the start date for the BBC Wales drama?

The airdate for series three of Keeping Faith has finally been revealed.

This third series will be the final installment of the popular BBC/S4C drama which stars Eve Myles, Mark Lewis Jones and Bradley Freegard.

Keeping Faith series three will start on Saturday, March 27 on BBC One and iPlayer.

Myles returns as Faith Howells as she attempts to navigate the fall out of her marriage break-up, while taking on an emotionally wrenching legal medical case involving a gravely ill little boy.

Filming on series three started in January 2020, but was delayed by the pandemic. The show managed to finish off the action in Laugharne at the end of last summer, when Eve Myles posted a final picture of herself in Faith’s famous yellow mac.

Of course, viewers of Un Bore Mercher on S4C will have already seen the Welsh-language version of the show, as it aired last autumn.

What happened at the end of series two?

There were lots of twists and turns during the second instalment of the drama, but the crux of it was that Faith kicked dodgy husband Evan out of the family home and was then seen cwtching Steve Baldini (Mark Lewis Jones) on the beach, who told her: "I'll be here for you when you're ready."

You can catch-up with series one and two at on BBC iPlayer ahead of the new series.
